Zach Miller, a member of the Seneca Nation of New York, is making waves on the University of Denver lacrosse team.

Miller, 19, leads DU with 20 goals and has the country's second-best shooting percentage (.645). And he's just a freshman.

"Lacrosse is the creator's game," Miller told The Denver Post. "He invented it for medicine, for people who play and watch the game. We play with a clear mind and to entertain him, because he's always watching."

Miller will be honored during the Denver March Powwow this weekend. His family will be in town to watch him play against Rutgers on Saturday.
