A seven-year-old Native boy recently completed a major Hollywood film starring Leonardo DiCaprio.

Isaiah Tootoosis -- who happens to be the great-grandson of the late acting legend Gordon Tootoosis -- plays DiCaprio's son in The Revenant, CBC News reported. The boy landed the role of Young Hawk after a 15-minute audition.

"It was so fun," Isaiah told CBC News. "He was real nice."

Isaiah, who is from the Poundmaker Cree Nation in Saskatchewan, spent nine days earlier this month shooting his scenes in California.
