Morongo Band debuts flagship location for Hadley Fruit Orchards

Correction: The headline on the original version of this post gave the incorrect ownership for the Hadley Fruit Orchards. While the story itself correctly named the Morongo Band of Mission Indians as the owner, the headline wrongly identified another tribe. The headline has been corrected.

The Morongo Band of Mission Indians opened a new flagship store for its Hadley Fruit Orchards business.

The tribe broke ground on the 12,500 square-foot building last August. The new store offers its famed date shakes along with nuts, dried fruit, fresh fruit and other food products.

The tribe bought the business in 1999.
