Oklahoma job program may shut down

Facebook Twitter
A 25 year old employment agency, the Oklahoma Tribal Assistance Program, in Tulsa recently lost its main source of funding to a new Indian employment agency, the Native American Resource Center. The funds lost amounted to approximately $650,000 over two years. If the OTAP does not receive a new source of moneys, then it will have to close by June 30. This would leave the Tulsa area with only one Indian employment facility.
