OCTOBER 18, 2000

At a recent concert in the Navajo Nation, the blues-rock group Indigenous stole the show, according to Brenda Norrell of Indian Country Today.

Along with Jackson Browne and The Indigo Girls, the group played a free concert in Window Rock, Arizona. It was one of the stops on the Honor the Earth tour, whose main focus is the protection of bison in Yellowstone National Park.

Green Party Vice Presidential candidate Winona LaDuke also addressed the crowd.
