MARCH 5, 2001

During the month of June, the American Indian Journalism Institute at the University of South Dakota will help train 25 college level Native American students as journalists.

The program will introduce them to a variety of aspects of journalism: reportings, editing, and photography, to name a few. The program will also help place Native students in journalism internships.
