A 2,000-year-old Tequesta cemetery has been recently uncovered on a prime area of Miami real estate.

A New York development company was planning to purchase the land for $18 million but the discovery has stopped plans for construction of high rise towers.

Archaeologists say anywhere from 50 to 100 remains are buried on the site.
