FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 30, 2001 A proposal by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecicut to build a golf course and resort on land it owns in a local town is still under discussion by officials. The tribe's 922-acre property in the town of North Stonington would house two 18-hole golf courses and other buildings. The local Planning and Zoning Commission has a month to approve or decline it.
