The Rumsey Band of Wintun Indians of northern California plans to expand its popular casino and local farmers are upset about it.

The casino draws about 5,000 gamblers a day. Residents fear additional traffic with the expansion.

The tribe says the farmers are overreacting. The residents say they just want to sit down and discuss alternatives to the proposal.
