TUESDAY, JULY 23, 2002 The Shoshone-Bannock Nation of Idaho is holding a two-day summit this week. The summit was called to open the lines of communication between the tribe and the local community. A recent incident over police powers prodded tribal leaders into action. The tribe also hopes the media will learn more about tribal members.
