Vandals targeting N.M. ponies

FRIDAY, AUGUST 3, 2001 Vandals in New Mexico have been targeting an exhibit of 53 painted Fiberglas and polyurethane ponies. At least two ponies located in Santa Fe have been damaged and another attempt was foiled this week. Various artists, including a number of Native Americans, are participating in the program and painting the horses, which are being displayed in public throughout the state. The horses will be auctioned off for charity. Get the Story:
