Seminole Chief Haney suspended

JUNE 26, 2001 The tribal council of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma suspended Chief Jerry Haney on Saturday for alleged violations of governing laws. The tribe is also asking the US Inspector General to review the tribe's use of federal funds. Haney is suspended indefintely. Get the Story:
