An inquiry into a Pottawatomie County land auction has concluded no laws were broken.

After the April 11th auction, John "Rocky" Barrett, Chairman of the Citizen Band of Potawatomis, came under attack by a non-native landowner for bidding on land that the Tribe also wanted to buy from the local conservation district.

The disgruntled bidder claimed that the Chairman was coaching the vice-Chairman, Linda Capps, who was also bidding on the same land on behalf of the tribe.
