Task force issues First Nations University report

A task force has issued an interim report on Wednesday on mismanagement and other problems at the First Nations University of Canada.

The 20-page report cited numerous concerns with the university's finances, management and hiring practices. The task force called for a full-scale review of the administration.

The FNUC board of directors has fired a number of top executives in response to alleged mismanagement of funds. But some faculty and students claim tribal leaders are making decisions based on political motives.

FNUC has three campuses, all located in Saskatchewan.
