Word around the Sooner State is that Neal McCaleb is still feeling the pain from the WSJ-ICT double slammy he recently received. So to make up for it, he arranged a tribal fundraiser for House Speaker Dennis Hastert (R-Ill.) in Oklahoma City the other day. It was a perfect fit, since some tribes (read: Chickasaw/Choctaw/Cherokee) are concerned that Mr. Reservation Shopping might halt their economic development (read: MGAM casinos) plans cold. So their response? Donate money! Just don't go looking for Gov. Anoatubby's name in next quarter's FEC filings. An employee/zip code search, however, might lead one back to the source of the contributions. Happy Hunting!
