A bill to legalize certain electronic casino machines in Oklahoma is making its way through the State Legislature.
SB553 would allow tribes and four racetracks, including one that is tribally-owned, to offer electronic machines that may or may not be Class III. The tribes will then share a portion of the revenues from the machines with the state.
The bill introduced on Monday was sent back to conference committee the same day, a routine procedure.
A copy of the bill as of Monday can be found athttp://www.indianz.com/docs/floor/2-12-04SB553.pdf.
There were some minor changes made yesterday.
