Blackfeet Nation's casino near national park may close

printer friendly
An experimental tribal casino near Glacier National Park in Montana may close by the end of the year, a hotel owner says.

The Blackfeet Nation opened the tiny casino at the Glacier Park Lodge. The hotel owner says the facility and its 30 electronic gaming machines saw little business.

But tribal council member Jay St. Goddard said the casino shows some promise. Although he didn't have exact figures, he said foot traffic could improve with some advertising.
