California tribe might get into off-track betting

The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians could offer off-track betting at its new casino.

The tribe's compact allows for off-track betting. The paperwork still needs to filed with the state, however, a move that could impact a betting parlor four miles from the casino.

Three other tribes in the area already offer off-track betting.
