The Muscogee Creek Nation of Oklahoman is breaking ground on what will become the state's largest tribal casino.
The 285,000-square-foot facility will be located in south Tulsa. It will have space for 3,300 electronic machines, 50 table games and several restaurants. The tribe expects it will open by early 2007.
Currently, the Chickasaw Nation operates the largest casino in the state but the tribe says it will expand from 190,000-square-feet to 300,000 square-feet. The Chickasaws are also building a 200,000-square-foot casino.
