The Seneca-Cayuga Tribe of Oklahoma is proposing to build a casino resort in Auburn, New York.
The tribe says it will hire 2,000 people and make millions in payments to the city. Chief Paul Spicer and developer Thomas C. Wilmot plan to present the proposal to the Auburn city council on June 22.
The tribe previously considered Auburn while its land claim was pending. The 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals has since dismissed the case.
