The Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma released preliminary results of a poll that shows strong support for a casino in Lima, Ohio.
According to the survey, 56.9 percent support the casino while 26.3 percent oppose it. Another 16.7 percent are undecided.
The tribe has filed a land claim in Ohio and hopes to settle for gaming rights. The state is seeking to dismiss the lawsuit.
