Indian gaming is to blame for a 42 percent drop in revenues over the past two years, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

The non-Indian casinos in the Douglas County have seen a steady drop in business. The take went from $40.7 million in July 2008 to $23.8 million in July 2010.

Tribal casinos in northern California compete with the ones in Nevada.
