Connecticut's two federally recognized tribes are seeing a surge in business following Hurricane Sandy.
The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal
Nation and the Mohegan
Tribe shut down some services during the storm. But they are now reporting an increase in business now that the worst has passed.
“The casino floors are a flurry of activity," a spokesperson for Foxwoods Resort
Casino told The New Haven Register.
“Since Monday it has turned back to normal, maybe a little bump up,” Mohegan Sun president and CEO Bobby Soper told the paper.
