The White Earth Nation in Minnesota is looking to make its casino more "green" by implementing a sustainability program.

The tribe wants the Shooting Star Casino to reduce its carbon footprint. The new program sets goals for recycling, energy use and water consumption.

“We take pride in our sustainability efforts and the significant effort that has gone into becoming environmentally conscious at every level of our business,” marketing director Bill Marsh said in a press release.
