The U.S. Supreme Court won't be hearing Contour Spa at the Hard Rock v. Seminole Tribe, a casino business dispute.
The Seminole Tribe of Florida waived its sovereign immunity in a 10-year lease with a tenant at the Hard Rock Casino in
Hollywood. But the agreement was never approved by the Bureau of Indian Affairs so it is
invalid, the 11th Circuit Court of
Appeals said in a decision from August 2012.
The Contour Spa, which was ousted as a tenant at the casino in March 2010, asked the high court to review the decision. The justices rejected the petition without comment in an order today.
