Massachusetts Gaming Commission to choose a new director

The Massachusetts Gaming Commission has selected a finalist for the executive director post.

Rick Day has served as the executive director of the Washington State Gambling Commission since 2001. He has helped negotiate tribal Class III gaming compacts.

The commission will interview Day at a public meeting on Thursday, The Taunton Daily Gazette reported.
