Speakers from Mississippi, Oklahoma, Alabama and Louisiana said their tribes are building new facilities and adding new amenities. “Oklahoma is growing,” Sheila Morago, the executive director of the Oklahoma Indian Gaming Association, told attendees, The Mississippi Business Journal reported. “It doesn’t look like it’s stopping any time soon.”

Tribal gaming in Mississippi, Oklahoma and Alabama showed strong gains in 2011, according to Casino City’s Indian Gaming Industry Report. Louisiana saw a small decline, the report said.
