The St. Regis Mohawk Tribe of New York celebrated a $74 million casino expansion.

The tribe added a 150-room hotel, spa, gym and pool to the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino. The tribe also moved the Mohawk Bingo Palace, which first opened in 1999, to the larger facility.

"We started off not knowing too much about gaming. We've learned a lot. Today, we could probably go any place and put up a casino," Chief Paul Thompson said at the grand reopening celebration, YNN reported.
