The Seneca Nation is reportedly near a settlement over its Class III gaming compact.
President Barry Snyder Sr. traveled to the state capitol on Wednesday to meet with New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D), The Albany Times Union reported. At issue are $620 million in gaming revenues that the tribe has withheld due to a dispute over exclusivity provisions in the compact.
According to the paper, the tribe would release upwards of $420 million to end the dispute and would agree to continue making revenue sharing payments in the future.
The revenues are currently being held in escrow.
