The Oneida Nation of Wisconsin has delayed work on part of its $28 million casino expansion.

The tribe can't demolish a canopy at its main casino in Green Bay because birds are nesting there. The delay is expected to last a month but work continues on other parts of the project.

The tribe expect to complete the project in about a year.
