NIGC to announce increase in tribal gaming revenue for 2012

The National Indian Gaming Commission will announce an increase in tribal gaming revenues for 2012, KING 5 News reports.

Tribal casinos took in $27.2 billion in 2011, according to the NIGC's report for that year. That was a slight increase from 2009 and 2010, when gaming revenues fell for the first time in Indian Country due to the national economy recession.

The 2012 report is expected today, according to KING 5. Prior reports can be found at www.nigc.gov/Gaming_Revenue_Reports.aspx
