With gaming revenues falling at home, the Mohegan Tribe is seeking commercial casinos in New York and Massachusetts.

The tribe will be presenting its proposal for the $550 million casino at the former Concord Resort Hotel to the New York State Gaming Commission tomorrow. The project is among nine in the Catskills, a region about 90 minutes north of New York City.

Separately, the tribe is pursuing the $1 billion Mohegan Sun Massachusetts near Boston. The Massachusetts Gaming Commission is beginning deliberations on the project today, a process that could stretch into next week, WBUR reported.

The other bidder for the license is Wynn Resorts, a company owned by billionaire Steve Wynn.
