A college student pleaded guilty on Tuesday in connection with an incident at a casino owned by the Saginaw Chippewa Tribe of Michigan.

Thomas Rawls, 21, admitted to one count of attempted larceny in a building, a misdemeanor. He will apparently testify against a co-defendant who is accused of stealing a woman's purse from the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort and using her credit card to make a purchase back in April.

After reaching the plea deal, Rawls was reinstated to the football team at Central Michigan University. He will play in a game this Saturday and will be allowed to take road trips.
