Hopi chair to face challenge from former chair

A former Hopi chairman and the incumbent chairman were the top vote-getters in a primary election on Wednesday.

Ivan Sidney, who was chairman from 1981-1989, got the most voted in the primary. Coming in second was incumbent Wayne Taylor Jr., who is seeking his third term in office.

The general election will be held November 16.
