Variety: Adam Beach to join Law & Order cast
Friday, January 26, 2007

Native actor Adam Beach is slated to join the cast of the hit series "Law & Order: SVU," Variety reports.

Beach guest starred in the January 16 episode of the show, playing Brooklyn detective Chester Lake. Although the character's tribal ancestry was never mentioned, he said his relatives worked in construction in New York City, as many Mohawks and other Natives have done since the 1900s. [TV.Com]

Variety said Beach will return to the show later this season.
