Abramoff Scandal

Kevin Ring, a former associate of convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff, abruptly resigned from the Barnes & Thornburg firm last Friday.
Ring worked with Abramoff at the Greenberg Traurig firm. After the scandal broke, he joined Barnes & Thornburg and represented some of the same clients -- including the Hopi Tribe of Arizona and the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians.
The Hopi Tribe dropped Ring after he refused to testify at a Senate Indian Affairs Committee hearing in June 2005. He represented the Choctaws as recently as 2006, according to Senate records [
