Massachusetts school drops 'Redmen' nickname
The "Redmen" nickname is no more at the Natick High School in Massachusetts after more than a year of debate.

A school committee said the name was offensive to Native Americans. But supporters vowed to challenge the decision and put it voters in the town.

Members of the Nipmuc Nation, a state recognized tribe, opposed the use of the name.
