Native woman in Manitoba dies after flu illness
A woman from the St. Theresa Point First Nation of Manitoba died of a flu-like illness after she tested negative for the H1N1 virus, commonly known as swine flu.

The woman was pregnant she was flown out of the reserve and to a hospital in Winnipeg. She gave birth to a boy in an emergency caesarean section earlier this week.

The boy is doing well, family members told CBC News. But they don't know the exact cause of the woman's death.

The reserve has been hard hit by flu and Manitoba has reported 295 cases of the H1N1 virus.
