Abramoff expected to complete prison sentence in December
Disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff has been transferred from a federal prison to a halfway house in preparation for the completion of his federal sentence.

Abramoff pleaded guilty to bank fraud and to defrauding his tribal clients. His longest sentence was nearly six years but he cooperated with federal prosecutors as they pursued other figures in the scandal.

Abramoff is expected to be released on December 4. He will have served about four years in prison.
