City considers sale of water to ski resort in San Francisco Peaks
The city council in Flagstaff, Arizona, held a seven-hour meeting on Monday but didn't come to a decision about the sale of water to a ski resort in the sacred San Francisco Peaks.

The city is being asked to sell drinking water to the Arizona Snowbowl. The water will be used to make snow at the resort.

The Department of Agriculture is pushing the owners of the Snowbowl to use drinking water instead of reclaimed wastewater. But tribes who use the San Francisco Peaks for ceremonies, gathering and other activities oppose the project.

The council plans to meet again on Thursday to consider the issue.
