Investigation continues in deaths of three from Yankton Sioux Tribe

Authorities in North Dakota say they haven't identified a suspect in the murders of three people from the Yankton Sioux Tribe.

Jolene Zephier, 38, and two of her children, Dylan Zephier, 13, and Sabrina Zephier, 19, were shot to death in Minot last Friday. Also killed was Jeremy Longie, 22, who was not believed to be a tribal member.

Sabrina Zephier was killed in a different home than her mother and brother. Her infant daughter was found unharmed in the home.

"Every investigator has been assigned to this case. We think this is such an important case that we've assigned everybody and haven't pulled anybody off since day one on Friday," Chief of Police Jeff Balentine said at a press conference, The Minot Daily News reported.
