Sean Sherman, better known as The Sioux Chef, has been busy ever since the launch of his catering business in Minneapolis, Minnesota, last September.

Sherman, a member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe, has garnered news coverage far and wide for his focus on traditional Native foods. He's now writing a cookbook, starting a food truck called the Tatanka Truck and still working on opening a restaurant that will focus on Lakota, Ojibwe and other tribal cuisines.

"The feedback has been really incredible," Sherman told The St. Cloud Times. "There's been such a positive response. It's great that people are so interested."

Sherman eventually hopes to explore other tribal cuisines, the paper reported.
