Calif. tribe advancing wastewater treatment plant
Thursday, July 24, 2003

The Morongo Band of Mission Indians is planning a wastewater treatment plant to accommodate growth on the reservation.

The 10-acre plant will be located near the tribe's new 23-story hotel-casino that is under construction. Tribal officials say it will handle up to 1.5 million gallons of wastewater per day and serve businesses and residences.
