Mills challenges youth to be sports warriors

Olympic gold medalist Billy Mills spoke to students at the Shiprock Alternative Schools in New Mexico on Monday.

Mills, a member of the Oglala Lakota Tribe, was promoting the Native American Sports Council's Sport Warrior Challenge Program. The program emphasizes traditional Native values.

Mills won the gold medal for the 10,000 meter run in the 1964 Tokyo Olympics.
