Report links rise in crime to Native population

An annual report from Alberta's top lawyer links a rise in crime to the rising Native population.

According to the solicitor general, Natives make up 35 percent of the prison population but only 6 percent of the province.

Some Native leaders say the report stereotypes Aboriginals as criminals.
