Isleta Pueblo enforcing blood quantum requirement

Isleta Pueblo leaders are informing tribal members who do not meet a one-half blood quantum requirement that they will be disenrolled.
According to KOAT News, dozens of members have received letters saying they do not have enough blood. They are being allowed to challenge the determination if they can prove their heritage.
The disenrolled say they will try to meet with tribal leaders on Thursday.
