Oneida Nation families hope tribe won't evict them

Four Oneida Nation families are refusing to leave their homes on their New York reservation, hoping the tribe won't evict them.

The tribe ordered the evictions of the four families, citing safety and other problems with their homes. But the families say they are being targeted because they spoke out against the tribal leadership.

The evictions were stayed pending resolution in the courts. But with the U.S. Supreme Court's recent refusal to hear the appeal, the families are worried about their future.
