Testimony continues for 1975 kidnapping and murder of Aquash
Testimony continued for a second day into the December 1975 kidnapping and murder of American Indian Movement activist Anna Mae Pictou Aquash.

Aquash was staying in Denver, Colorado, in late 1975 before her kidnapping and murder. She felt her life was in danger, a friend testified.

"She told me, ‘If they take me from here, you will never see me alive again,'" Troy Lynn Yellow Wood said on the stand, The Rapid City Journal.

Yellow Wood testified that Theda Clarke, John Graham and Arlo Looking Cloud took Aquash from Denver to Rapid City, South Dakota. Aquash was subsequently murdered on the Pine Ridge Reservation in December 1975.

Graham is on trial for kidnapping, murder and sexual assault. The alleged crimes occurred in Rapid City, off the reservation, at the home of Thelma Rios, a member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe, who has pleaded guilty her role.
