printer friendly
"The swirl of attention, money and effort by a group of our elected officials this week surrounding the Wyandotte Nation's downtown casino has managed to obscure a key moment in a possible resurgence of the Indian Springs Marketplace.

Kansas Attorney General Phill Kline, Mayor Carol Marinovich, Wyandotte County District Attorney Nick Tomasic and others have railed and yelled about the injustice of the tribe's casino. On Friday, even more of your public servants were utilized during an overly-dramatized raid and closure of the tribe's money pot.

All the while, none of the above mentioned has provided a single concrete reason of how their work benefits this community."
