The Seneca-Cayuga Tribe of Oklahoma presented its proposed casino to the town of Sennett, New York, on Tuesday.
The tribe and developer Thomas Wilmot Sr. envision $400 million casino and resort with a hotel, three restaurants, an 18-hole golf course and other amenities. The facility is expected to create about 2,000 jobs. The tribe is agreeing to pay all property and sales taxes, estimated at $95 million a year.
The town is planning two public hearings on the proposal.
